Volunteers

Fellowship Square’s philosophy of resident enrichment is to provide a wide variety of activities and events that benefit residents in every aspect of living — physically, intellectually, socially, emotionally, creatively, spiritually, and vocationally.

We are always looking for individuals or groups to volunteer and to help us provide new and exciting activity choices to Fellowship House residents.

Each year, more than 100 volunteers dedicate time, talent, energy and spirit to improve the lives of Fellowship House residents by organizing and staffing activities and events. Without volunteers, many of our programs and activities would not be possible.

Here are a few examples of volunteer opportunities that you or your group can help with:

    • Seasonal or Holiday Decorating

    • Book or Reminiscing Clubs

    • Bingo

    • Ice Cream Socials

    • Poetry Readings

    • Arts & Crafts

    • Bible Study

    • Garden Clubs
    • Seasonal or Holiday Collections and Drives – everything from winter hats, scarves and gloves, to household items like cleaning supplies and laundry detergent, and food items like canned goods and fresh produce

    • House events – help us plan, decorate, serve, set-up and clean-up for the many events we have at Fellowship House for residents

    • Other ideas – do you teach an exercise class or have a talent for cooking? If you have skills, talent or a general interest in teaching, we would love to partner with you to provide seminars, demonstrations or classes for our residents.

Volunteers play a central role in Fellowship Square’s mission and help us keep residents healthy and engaged. We hope you will get involved and be a part of what makes life wonderful at Fellowship House.
