Fellowship Square is committed to respecting the privacy of its financial and in-kind donors. This policy applies to all information received by Fellowship Square, both online and offline, as well as any electronic, written or oral communications.
When you make a financial or in-kind donation, you provide your name and contact information. Financial donors provide standard payment information including, in many circumstances, credit card data. We protect your information in a variety of ways, as described below.
Fellowship Square invests in your privacy: our online payment processor, Blackbaud Merchant Services, is 100% PCI DSS Compliant (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). Likewise, our donor database, eTapestry, maintains a comprehensive set of compliance certifications and attestations. These measures make it extremely difficult for anyone to intercept the credit card information you send to us online. When we work with other companies to process credit card transactions, those companies also use encryption and other appropriate security measures. To the extent any donation is processed through a third-party service provider, donor information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.
We will not sell, share or trade our donors’ personally identifiable information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations without explicitly stating that we are doing so. Fellowship Square processes and manages donations and donor data internally. Only staff of Fellowship Square has access to donor data, protected by log-in credentials. Our staff are bound by strict confidentiality rules and are permitted to use donor data only to support Fellowship Square operations.
