Lake Anne was constructed in two sections. Lake Anne I with 140 apartments opened in 1970. Lake Anne II opened in 1976, adding 100 units, and a common social hall. Features: Efficiency, Studio and One Bedroom Units Kitchens equipped with ranges, frost free refrigerators and garbage disposals Wall to wall carpet Trash chutes on each floor Fire resistant construction Smoke detectors in each apartment Arts and Crafts, Library and Social Activities Coin-operated laundry facilities Reserved Parking Hair Salon and Barber Shop All utilities except telephone and optional cable TV included in Rent Conveniently located adjacent to the Lake Anne Shopping Center in Reston, Virginia. Regularly Scheduled public bus transportation, as well as a 17 passenger bus, shared with the Hunters Woods Fellowship House, provides convenient access to other local and regional shopping facilities. Management by Fellowship Square Foundation Inc. owner and operator of Lake Anne Fellowship House is a Not-For-Profit Corporation whose principal activity is the operation of five Fellowship Houses in Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area. A Service Coordinator provided by a HUD based grant help residents work with county and state programs as well as works with residents to solve personal issues Application- Request rental applications in person, by telephone, or by mail. The rental office is accessible to the handicapped and is located at Lake Anne Fellowship House.
